Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 3Original post

Yuck. Once again we have the tiny tail lights and M3 exhaust tips

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Even though J-Lo has a big butt, it's what's on the inside that matters... ..and the face!

POST 6Original post

Could this be so they could fit a bigger engine in there?

POST 7Original post

Personally, I still prefer the 996 front. Let the 993 be the 993 and leave it at that. As for the interior, it's good to see a new design, but I hope the plastics look less Nissan-like in person.

POST 8Original post

THe interior looks pretty good. Kind of like the interior of a Range Rover HSE.

POST 10Original post

i used to feel exactly the opposite. but then i had some time to think about it and i've decided (it took me months) that the 996 got new headlights for a reason. new cars are an evolution. they're meant to change. for the record i like the look of the round headlights on the 993 better. but i'm starting to come around. the headlights on my 996? hated the fact that they looked like the boxster. so i put headlight covers on them, now they look more like the 993, but a little more modern. it satisfied me! the newer model 996s (and all 996 turbos) have a better solution. if i had those headlights i never would have put covers on them. they're a nice step in the evolution of the 911, IMHO.

POST 11Original post

Funny, when I first saw that 997 Cab picture I thought of the GT3 review where the driver was comparing the anachronsim of the 911 motor in the rear with Cindy Crawford's mole and JLo's enormous buttocks. I shall refer to the 997 as JLo from now on.

POST 12Original post

Looks like AutoSpies has been scanning Euro magazines again. The rear is getting to the "pregnant frog" proportions. And the cabin has lost the horizontal knee bar line across the whole car -- that's a travesty.
