Im have a set of iforged wheels that came off my 99 carrera. 19 x 8.5 in the front and 19 x 11 in the back. Would these fit on a 2000 boxter base model. Im not sure what the offset is since iforged is stingy about giving this info. Can anyone help out.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've never understood why iForged thinks this stuff is proprietary. Heck, I've seen many of their "proprietary" offsets and they are so wrong with wheels sticking to far outside the wheel well. The only way you are going to be able to "estimate" the offset is to post some pics and we can try and assume what they would be (within a few mm). It's just going to be very hard to sell wheels without being able to tell the buyer what the specs are (especially offset). With that said, IIRC wheels are swapable between the 986 and 996. It's just that the factory typically put narrower rear wheels on the 986 (9 vs. 10). Hopefully somebody that has interchanged can comment on application.
Sorry, but I am not familiar with the standard Boxster offsets. Maybe Ray S. will chime in here. He has both a 996 and a Boxster. You may also want to post this question on the Boxster/S Forum .
986 offsets are typically: Fronts: 7 et 55 7.5 et50 8 et50 Rear: 8.5 et48 8.5 et50 9 et52
Just find the centerline of the rim and mesaure that distance to the back of the rim hub. That is your offset.
here is a set of Iforged, same spec as yours... I dont think its gonna fit w/o spacers.
