OK guys, Im in the market for a SSK and often see two main name brands Schnell and B&M. I see most people in the posts have B&M which is a testament in itself. I also know eric only sells B&M and with his notorious quality lends me another train of thought. The question: What is the difference?
I have never seen a Schnell shifter in person, so I can't comment on the differences. However, as you mentioned, most here have gone with B&M and are very satisfied with the results. I think that alone speaks for itself.

I wonder if you could honestly tell any difference between the two? My guess is probably not. I have the OEM version which I believe is B&M. I would not have a non SSK shifter that much I know for sure.
I too have the Schnell and am happy with it. Color, cost besides that I cant see any design differences.
Dell, do you have one and what do you use? Does the gt3 come with a factory ssk?
michael, i have a brand new b&m ssk from eric that i bought a couple of months ago for sale. I bought the schnell first, and it felt kinda notchy. Someone recommended that i buy the agency power shift linkage. So I got that and installed it. After playing with the adjustments, the schnell works great. Before i got the agency power linkage, i decided to buy the B&M.. Never got around to install the B&M so it's just sitting in my garage. Thought about ebaying it, but **** ebay and their fees. I'll sell it for $150.00, my loss someone elses gain. PM if anyone is interested. bao
