Hi all; Just figured I'd introduce myself and say hello to the gang. Been lurking here for a bit - but I didn't dare introduce myself without pictures. Just got my new toy.. err.. Porsche a couple of weeks ago. She's an '03 C4 Cab, Lapiz blue w/ gray interior, and the hardtop which will come in handy in the Colorado winters - I live in Boulder, CO - saw one other person posting from Boulder so I guess I'm not the only one. No mod's yet, but I'm eying that wiper delete plug mod - will I still get the 30+ hp if I install the wiper delete plug on my hardtop? - Nick Pictures attached. Anyone recognize the building in the background?

Very nice.. Lapis Blue is a nice color...... but only second to Guards Red
Very nice, classy car.
Beautiful Car ! Congratulations
I love the color - beautiful car - thanks for sharing pics and welcome!!
Love the blue....but you ruined Tim's "Where's the Pics" grouse by being so fast on the draw. Welcome aboard. What's the building? Academy? I was in Cheyenne Mountain for a year. Chuck
Beautiful color. I really like lapis blue. Welcome to the gang.
After seeing your car, I'm beginning to miss my midnight blue 993 !!
Yummy. They get better each time you drive them. I even tried to make love to mine once when I was drunk. Enjoy her!
Nice car Isn't that the Boulder Mental Hospital for the Criminally Insane?
Nick - very nice looking ride. I love the Lapis, not that I am biased or anything! Thanks for posting the pics, those are some very nice shots! Chuck - yeah, the latest batch of "Newbies" are really starting to p!ss me off, they're all posting pics in their first post. It's been over 10 days since I have been able to rough up a "Newbie" and I'm having a hard time with the withdrawal symptoms.... I'm st... st.... st... starting to st... st... st... stutter again!
Beautiful car- welcome Nick (from another relative Newbie). Having grown up in Boulder, I'll take a stab at the building- that's the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), right? Nice spot for a photo op.
Lapis/Gray is a great combination. Your car is beautiful. Looks right at home in CO! Enjoy!!
Beautiful car. Welcome.
Very nice looking car! Welcome!
Thanks all, for the welcome. I too, really like the Lapis Blue - that's one of the things that sold us on this particular car - that plus the hardtop. Arnee - I tend to think the "best" color is simple - it's the color of the Porsche you're driving right now! Whatever color that happens to be. Chuck, Steven - nah, the building isn't the AFA or the Boulder Institute for the Criminally Insane.. the Boulder Institute is just down the street hill - usually it goes by it's other name - CU-Boulder Patriot had it right - it's NCAR, the National Center for Atmospheric Research, which stands on the mesa overlooking Boulder. If anyone's ever seen the Woody Allen move "Sleeper," it figures prominently in there. Tim, sorry to ruin your fun If you'd like, I can start another thread w/o pictures just so you can ask for 'em.... I can't wait for the summer to get here in the high country, so I can take this car up on some of the twisty roads in the mountains.. I know this pic doesn't belong in a Porsche thread/forum, but here's my truck parked in one of my favorite spots - about 12 k feet on Loveland Pass, on the continental divide. Gonna have to wait awhile before I can take the Porsche up there - there's probably 6 feet of snow up there right now.... They plow the road - but I still wouldn't go up there without snows - or a car who's paint job you're not particularly fond of - they gravel the h*ll out of the road in the winter.. - Nick
Nice ride Nick- wait till you get the car up in the hills- you will love it more than you already do. We live in a great place to own a Porsche. I will look for you next time I'm in boulder.
great color and beautiful car.... thanks for the post with pics... you are now on my radar.......!
I think I was the closest on the building guess What did I win
Your car is beautiful. I love lapis blue. Welcome aboard.
tsk tsk- I actually got the building right. The prize should be mine
Love the color (same as mine). Welcome, there are some great drives up here - enjoy!
Well Ti...Ti...Tiim....Th...Th..There's al..all...always to...to...tomorrow and mo...mo...more newbies. Hang tough there big fella'.

Welcome from another newby, your car is great!
Nick: Love the car and the spectacular views!! I have to agree with ArneeA that Lapis blue is the best looking color next to guards red. Enjoy!!
