On one of the other boards I visited, one kid actually did the almost exact thing by morphing different parts to make the whole, showing the step by step process. I thought it was hilarious that a kid could expose the forgery of a so-called "relaible" spy rag. That was a year ago.

Gotta tell you, the 911 community not withstanding ( I guess you mean the community that vows to die still in posession of their air cooled cars), I dig it. Muscular and the Carrera GT intakes work for me. I know a lot of people won't be satisfied untill they get a 500 hp, air cooled unit, and they bring back the side wing air vent windows, but I like it...and would buy it. Perry

I think it looks nice, but looks more like a cross between a ferrari 456 and a mercedes than a porsche.

I think you're right on Perry, that design has very broad appeal and if that were the upcomming 997 they'd sell boat loads of them. There's little doubt that even the retro crowed would end up buying them once they got the complaining out of their system. It's just too bad Porsche didn't consult this purported photoshop kid before they built the Pepper.

It was originally posted in either Car and Driver or Road and Track about 6 years ago. We've seen it a million times. Let's end it already.

Just my $.02, but if I saw that coming down the road, my first guess would be that it was a Toyota or possibly a Lexus. Not very Porsche-like in my opinion.
