When I was considering putting in an order now through my dealer, PNA told them it would be at least August '04 for delivery...:-(

In theory the '04 GT3 production runs thru July '04 (the factory shuts down in August for summer vacation). Of that production the original word was 750 were allocated to North America. Apparently there's a letter floating around stating that the count would actually be 412 or so but that hasn't been confirmed. It isn't known yet if GT3 production will resume with the '05 model year starts in September.

Wow! 750 to 412 is a pretty big decrease. I wonder why the change?

what i heard was that 750 was for North America - this includes Canada. 412 is USA

The original estimate of 750 GT3s for North America had 35-40 cars earmarked for Canada. I seriously doubt that's been raised to 338 so the 412 number remains a mystery.

GT3s are certainly available in Mexico but Mexico isn't part of North America. PCNA's markets are the US and Canada.
