Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Now that winter is approaching in New Jersey much faster than I would like...I am starting to give thought to shipping my car down to Florida. I did a search on the topic and found a pretty good thread on the 928 forum. I called one shipper and they quoted me $900. This is more than I was planning on spending. The quote was for a closed truck with satellite tracking which is pretty cool. Does anyone have a recommendation? I thought about the autotrain or just driving it down on a flat bed rental but my wife is flying down with our newborn and I prefer to be with her while the car is shipped. Thanks!!

POST 2Original post

raclaims; Try Intercity. Just used them to ship 99 cab from west coast to east coast. Not the least expensive, but probably most professional. Ask for Bob Shaw(driver) if possible. Took great car w/ my car. Regards

POST 3Original post

I've got InterCity picking up my car for Naples in a couple of weeks. I've used them several times. They're good; competitive and very professional. Price sounds about right as well. Ask for Bob Sellers. www.intercity.com

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Actually it was intercity that I had originally contacted...$900 is just more than I am prepared to pay. I have heard that they are excellent but it's just too much $$. Any other ideas?

POST 5Original post

raclaims..only other one I know is [email removed] He may have a better rate, although based on what InterCity is charging from the Boston area, your price seems reasonable.
