Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just picked up a 2000 Carrera 55K mi and it has the Navigation system but the disc is missing. I have checked with the dealer in North Dallas and they can't figure out which disc I need. They also didn't know if the 2.1 PCM disc would work with the 2000. Any ideas or places I could download the image and burn myself?

This question has been asked many times. Do a search and you will find the answer, but I don't think you're going to like what you find. Good luck!

Thanks, I have found the sad answer many times now. Does anyone know how easy/hard it is to swap out the PCM for a newer unit? I'd like to keep all the car interfaces but would also like iPod integration and phone. There are a number PCM3.1 units on eBay. Is this something that can be swapped?

POST 4Original post

Hey RynO, I also have a 2000 C2 with factory Nav and coincidentally I used to live in North Dallas as well in Allen TX, but have now moved to Albany NY last year. I am in the same boat as you, looking for my Map-5 region and I kinda gave up smyself, earching for it. If you have it, we can do a direct swap if you'd like, I do have the OEM Porsche Map-4 (South & Central region) in excellent condition that you are looking for. Send me a PM... Thanks,
