redridge, you're very welcome. I'd like to think that my contribution to this board has more to do with helping people than just selling parts. Anyway... Nick, it's black and held on by double sided tape much like most other added body parts. I do not have the tape, but you can grab a roll for a few bucks w/the ~150 you'd save. It's black rubber (looks a lot like the older turbo rear spoilers or the SC spoilers), but can be prepped and painted, I've seen many done that way. logay, I have no idea about the downforce. You may do more research as it's not an uncommon set up. I don't know what you mean about the smell -is that a joke? It doesn't have a smell that I've noticed... Here's a picture on the car: and off:
