Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have the metropol blue interior and the console and ash tray match. I ordered the non-smoker's kit and it came in a weird soft-touch dark charcoal color. Part number is 99655209601A03 and it says "BLK LAQ" although the finish is very matte. It doesn't look right at all--not matching, but too close to look like it's supposed to not be the same color. I know you can get aftermarket color matching, but how about just ordering the right color in the first place? Anyone know?

POST 2Original post

Send it to Eric at Bumperplugs and he can factory paint match in any color.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Tried him, but he'd only do it as part of a full console repaint.

POST 4Original post

Jon, Drop these guys an email, if it exists I am sure they can get it, great service in the past from them. http://carnewal.com
