Getting close to time for some new shoes so if anyone has a list or wants to make a recommendation it'd be appreciated.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

They have a reasonable selection at tirerack and they list which are N-Spec. If they are not widely available I wouldn't bother. If you wreck one tire and can't get a replacement, you are hosed. Happened to me with some Bridgestones on my M3.
These are the ones that I am aware of. Tirerack can give you a list (click on view OE Tires after you entered your car model and yr) Michelin Pilot Sport (not avail in 285 rear size) Continental ContactSport 2 Pirelli PZero Rosso and Directional Bridgestone SO2A (not avail in 285 rear size)
PM me with your mailing address and I'll send you Porsche publication "Tires Porsche Approved Original Equipment" Fall/Winter 2004-2005. The phamplet lists all N rated tires for the Boxster, 996 and the Pepper. It should also be available at your friendly P dealer. Jim
I did the research and bought Bridgestone Potenza SO 2 a's. I had continentals, these blow them away; quiet and smooth with great handling. Cost about a grand for all four, no regrets
I came from P zeros and moved to S02-As. They blow them away. I have S02-As in 285/30/18 from tirerack. Maybe they are due to restock or something.
