Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have posted this before but got nowhere. When I drive over a patch in the road that is a little lower than the road surface (Kind of a reverse speed bump) I hear a loud clunk/thunk in the rear area. Seem to be mostly from passenger side rear. My dealer has gone over every bushing , nut , bolt, swaybar, drop link, shocks, rear hatch, rear seatbacks, you name it everything checks out perfect. Any ideas out there? Thanks a bunch.

POST 2Original post

Something laying loses in the engine compartment? Check that trunk fan is tight, air housing, etc. Get under back of car and hit the exhaust system in varios places and see if you can duplicate the sound. Look for anything that may be loose.

POST 3Original post

The factory motorized wing assembly can be very, very noisy and rattle like a loose piece of crap. This can be heard from inside the car while driving. I had this issue on a previous car and the dealer isolated it with some of that Porsche double-sided foam tape in certain areas.

POST 4Original post

Oddly, I have the exact same problem, and almost the exact same car. Niello Porsche went over the car thoroughly, couldn't find anything. This is the only problem I've ever had with the car. Do you have M030 rigid susp (or ROW, etc)? Fairly slams the rear end over bumps. Curious now. POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Dirk, No mention of anything relating to suspension on my window sticker, to the best of my knowledge it has the everyday basic C2 suspension. Thanks
