I think price is pretty much same and I want to compare those two cars. GT3 and 997 Carrera S. I consider it as a daily. Performance and comfort will be significant criteria. Any comments?

997S then. GT3 is a GT racing car that is suitable for the road, 997S is a road car that is performance oriented.

996GT3 or 997GT3? Reason I ask is that the 997GT3 is NOT anywhere close to the price of the 997S....delta of about 25K. If you are talking about the 996GT3 and the 997S then much better argument. Price is 81K for a 997S and 996GT3's are in the 80s right now. I just recently went throughthis decision process and my decision was something that took a while but could have been very easily answered in one question.......What is it going to be used for? I am a track junkie and therefore I chose the GT3. However, if you are just the couple times a year DE person, then the GT3 is not for you. Can it be a daily driver? Of course. Optimal choice as a daily driver over a GT cruiser like the 997S? Not even a fair comparison. GT3=Track 997S=GT cruiser and great DD.

The word "comfortable" and GT3 don't match. You will be very happy with a 997S.
