Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All, Found a used child seat but apparently Porsche will not sell the deactivation bar by itself. In fact, the seat with bar is not even available. Anyone have a source for the deactivation bar only? Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

Ahh the wonders of the internet. It so happens I have one for sale. Recently removed from my Boxster S. I have no Idea what a fair price is for this. email me at [email removed] and we can discuss.

POST 3Original post

You also need a trip to the dealer. They have to program the car to accept the bar.

POST 5Original post

Any Indy with a PST2 can re-program for the air bag deactivation bar. Takes about 2 minutes. Mine did it for free.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
