Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry this is a bit OT here but thought you guys would like this... This car will beat anything on the road and it does 170 mpg! It embarrasingly eats a CGT! http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/05/...sche-and-wins/

POST 2Original post

Yes, until the batteries discharge (and you have to wait 4-5 hours to recharge them). One DE run and you're basically done for the day. I would still prefer the 'normal' version of the Atom, with the supercharged Type R engine.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sure but its pretty cool dont you think.

POST 4Original post

who cares...it looks like s.... I would take a slower F or P anytime!! If I want a go kart...I'll go to the go kart track!! Did you hear the sound of the GT??? Still have goosebumps!!!

POST 5Original post

I am a very big fan of the Atom.....I'll likely buy one when my son moves up from karts to cars at 18 yrs of age (he's loved the Atom ever since he saw it on Top Gear). My daily driver is a hybrid (06 Ford Escape Hybrid AWD) and as an electrical engineer, hybrids interest me a bit. Just don't see the attraction of a road course car that can't run most of the day (definitely NOT a fan of drag strips.....that's stupider than NA$CAR IMHO)

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Jezus. OK OK OK I take it back already! Lighten up a little. I'm not out to prove anything for christ sakes, just thought like minded petrol heads might enjoy this......obviously I was wrong. what a bunch of tossers. Of course I would rather have a Porka or a Feza but WTF this is still very cool IMHO.

POST 7Original post

It may look funny, but it will compete equally with a Carrera GT and lose very narrowly to an Enzo. I am not a fan of go karts, my son has been driving them since he was 10), but after driving the Skip Barber race cars at Laguna Seca, my Cup car felt like a dog. FWIW, I passed on the CGT, it never really did anything for me from a styling perspective.....but to each his own I suppose.

POST 8Original post

I liked the car. It's different and shows there is another direction. With a 150 mile range it might get through a DE. It would have made it through the last pro race at VIR

POST 9Original post

Can we put a 996 body on it? I am not sure I can live without the 996 sound though.

POST 10Original post

He scouser..I was glad to see the video..because it is amazing that battery power can do this nowadays...in 10 years or so....we won't even remember the smell of gas, I wonder what the oil producing nations are going to do......when their income falls away.....it is not going to be good!
