Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I received a mail item the other day about a new product for the 996. It was a plenum diverter insert that supposedly added 22 hp. They offered money back guarantee and had dyno results. I know most of you are going to tell me "no way" and I'm a dumbass for asking but it would be great to have some insight for this product or if anyone has used it? It's offered by dps motorsports and costs $850.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

always looking to go ever-faster short of a supercharger!

POST 3Original post

I saw the same add in Excellence... anyone using this product? Sharkey mentioned the need for proper "programming"... Would a GIAC standard flash suffice???

POST 4Original post

They have had these for Corvettes for a long time. The dyno says 5-8 hp gain. But the Corvette ones are MUCH cheaper so it is more worthwhile. Only after doing the flash, intake, exhaust combo would I consider this.

POST 5Original post

If you add up the hp gains in the corvette catalog you cn gat 75hp for $1000.00 in bolt on goodies !
