Didn't want to hi-jack "roadsessions" DE/autocross helmet thread so I'm starting a new one because all the advice he was getting was driven by the wrong criteria. Helmet choice should be driven by what you look like. If you're beautiful like me you go with open face so the track honeys can see your pretty mug. Check out Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder. Most of you guys (for obvious reasons) go with a full face. If you are really homely you need a full face with a tinted visor. Hope this helps.
