Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Which part of the actual seatbelt receptacle fails causing this airbag light to come on? Im a little confused with this bit. People say you can just clean it up but what part is failing ?

POST 2Original post

I get the light from time to time as well. My research, and this isn't a first hand experiemce is that the receiver (the one with the latch, red button) that causes this. On mine I'm fairly sure its the passanger side.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Why can't I just put a resistor across the electrical connection to make it thing the seat is always buckled. And then just clear the light?
