I installed the GT3 taco wing on my car because I thought the new harness that I ordered last week would come in today. Apparently, it will not be in til next week. I couldn't figure out how to remove the existing wiring harness from the factory wing. Hence, the fan that attaches to the rear deck is not hooked up. Can the car be driven this way or is that a big no no. Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well, sure you can drive it that way, but the fan helps more than you think when the temp starts to climb, especially in hot climes like Arizona. What's preventing the hook up?
i'm waiting for the harness....
Just hook your stock harness to the fan, let the spoiler wire dangle, the spoiler error will come on above 74mph, but at least the fann will work. The fan works off a sensor in the engine compartment to activate above an ambient temp of 180 I believe.
