Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys, Just thought I would post up here about how my coilover install went... So... First, a hazet is not necessary but holding a deep socket 21mm with a vise grip while holding an allen key is a headache... Secondly, Taking out the existing front struts while not damaging your fender is a headache. Third, for that rear eye bolts, air tools make life way easy, but a pivot is necessary. Other than that, a piece of cake. Took about 3.5 hours. Some pics for you My buddy Mike helping me out. Dropped but without rims! Finale

POST 2Original post

Looks really good! You should drop the rear a little more tho

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yea, that's the plan and maybe either space out the front or reverse mount the face... not sure yet.

POST 4Original post

I'm in the Corona area but I frequent Yorba Linda when I ride by road bike. When my son gets older, I'll get a replica for projects and drives. I love those 356's!

POST 10Original post

Damn beat me to it! I was going to ask the same thing!

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The stock wheels are 18s and will have no tires. I had r compounds on there but am looking for a set of hollow turbo twists in the near future. What are the OEM 18" wheels called that are on the car?

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

356 replica is a fun car. It gets more looks than anything I've ever owned. I know quite a lot about them so if you ever need help, let me know.
