Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The car has had all the service done and appears to be in terrific shape. It is at a Porsche dealer. It is fairly loaded from the factory including a full factory aero kit with the rear wing. What would you say a car like this is worth in today's market? I just sold a 99' Carrera, but with the market being so soft I want to ensure that I am getting a fair deal on this car. So, What do you think would be a fair deal, good deal and smoking deal? Thanks in advance for the feedback. Also, what does a 30k service typically cost? Thanks, Pat

POST 2Original post

Personally, if you just sold a 99, hold out for a good deal on an 02+.

POST 3Original post

Are you looking at the white aero coupe at Byers Porsche in Ihio, I was looking at this car but decided a no go because I didn't like the turbo wheels, if its not than than atleast you can use it for comparison, After going back and forth they offered to do 35.5K out the door, I wanted 34.5 so I could allow for the wheel upgrade. Original asking price was 42 900

+1 Give a list of options. Fairly loaded can mean a lot of things on a P car...but upon a PPI I'd say $35k to $38k

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As far as options, it has the full factory aero kit, carbon e-brake and shifter, 18" wheels, 3 spoke steering heel with color crest, alloy door sills. That is all that I can think of, but the tag in the hood has nearly 4 lines of option codes. I have not had time to look them all up yet.

POST 6Original post

It is decently optioned, the full aero kit is the only "real" desirable option on that list that is gonna affect the price. Ya, Id say $35k should get you in the ballpark. I'm assuming it's CPO'd. If so, you may pay closer to $40k. What's their asking price?
