Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Absolutely chuckla.....pull up a group of guys and let us know how many people you have set up.......(doesn't have to Porsche owners).....we could literally wrap any car on the market.

POST 7Original post

I might be down as well.. But the car is an 03 and has light scrathes, chips, and swirls. Canthe claer bra still be used?

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As for the chips, you should have it touched up and the scratches buffed out as well. As for the swirls, these should also be buffed out as well prior to film installation.............these are things that we could do for our customers prior to installation for a small fee.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

eli at P - Pricing would be right around $500 and possibly in the $400 range if enough cars are gathered at one location............6 or more. dsteinaz - Phoenix is prett close to us as well.....

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We will be making a business trip to LA this February, so we could possibly work this out.

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

eli at P - We will be in the LA area between Feb 1-4. For those interested and in this area, please email us at: [email removed] or call us at [phone removed]

POST 15Original post

How will you stand behind the product since you will be doing installs by traveling and your not in a permanant facility where customers are?

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If there is ever a problem w/ our workmanship, we will fly back out to get it fixed. As we fully understand the risks of mobile service across the states, it is to our benefit and to the customers for us to get it right the first time.........basically, we have to have a 100% installation success rate for clear bra group buys.

POST 17Original post

Thanks but as we all know, there are exceptions and problems do occur, the trick is getting them resolved in a orderly fashion.

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You're right......there will be exceptions and problems could occur, which is why we take all necessary precautions so that we only make one installation per car: -we bring extra material: 3 design folders per car, so in case anything goes wrong w/ one, we still have 2 for back up per car. -before releasing vehicle to customer, we will make sure all edges are sealed by heat.........so that even if it rains, there will be no lifting caused by having the edges wet. -issue of "bubbles" or water pockets - when there are pockets of water trapped, it is because the squeegeeing process was not thorough enough. We take our time squeegeeing to ensure no water pockets are left between film and paint surface. -the same goes for window tint. Typically, customers are told to not roll down windows for 3-7 days. The reason companies persuade customers to not roll windows down for several days is because the film is not yet dry. We thoroughly dry all of the leading edges of the film so that no lifting will occur even if customer does roll the window down right away - the same goes for paint protection film. -The risks for out-of-state group buys are fairly high for us because of the possibility of issues or problems, but because we have been in the paint protection film industry for 6 yrs and window films for 8, we are very aware of all problems that could arise. We understand the issues and how to avoid them. As stated before, we have to have a 100% success rate in order to make the group buys worth our trip and our customers' time. We fully understand our risks, which is why we take all necessary precautions stated above in order to attaining our 100% success rate.
