Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys, Looking to purchase a 3.6 996 within the next couple of months. I am here in NYC but moving back to Honolulu in March, and i think i can get better prices here on the mainland. I have around $35k to spend. 6SPD is a must, everything else i am pretty open to. Let me know if you guys see anything cherry. I assume what i have to spend im probably looking at a pcar with 50+k miles on it, which is OK by me. Its winter time, so I think there maybe be a lot of good deals out there. I seen some on ebay going for very attractive prices. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

up your budget to 42 and buy tim's car....it's an '04 with fantastic mods and pristine. No brainer....Tim....time to chime in here. J

POST 4Original post

What they said, Tim's car is a great deal at 42K, but more importantly its a good car

POST 5Original post

look in the classifieds section....you should see it there...fairly recent ad at that price. J

POST 6Original post

Vin - as the other guys stated, my 2004 C2 is for sale for $42,000. Check out the link in my sig where it says Click Here to see the ad in the classified section. Here are a couple of pics recent pics. There are more pics in the ad. Thanks guys for mentioning my car!

POST 7Original post

+ whatever. Pay a few more bucks up front for a Tim's car. That will get you a newer car, and greater piece of mind knowing it has a good history. If I hadn't bought my car last Spring, I would have picked Tim's up for sure.

POST 8Original post

That car would look great cruising Hawaii, sweet color combo. The only downside is you'd need to fend off all the girls chasing you.

Yeah, that happens to me all the time!...................... NOT!

POST 10Original post

I just dropped $48K for my '03 C4S after several months of research. C2s are about 10K less. If I wanted a C2 I'd seriously consider Tim's.

POST 11Original post

Are you looking specifically for a Coupe or Cab? C2 or C4? I will let you guess why I ask......... I you are looking for a C2 Coupe, the Lapis one is this thread is BEAUTIFUL with all the correct mods and, as with most rennlister's cars, impeccably maintained.
