Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Today I was doing a search on the Michelin website and stumbled on this interesting piece of news -- Michelin will not extend its Formula One involvement beyond the 2006. Making Bridgestone the sole F1 tire supplier beginning in 2007. ----> Michelin F1 News After decades of great successes (minus this year's Indy fiasco) it is sad to see them leave the F1 scene.

POST 2Original post

I am sorry I don't share your feelings about their departure. Should only have ever been one. After my last trip to Indi..., me feeling was confirmed on who had to go.

POST 3Original post

I like a one tire series. I always hated seeing races won or lost because of tires.

POST 4Original post

Same here - my trip was a shambles because of them did they leave or were they 'fired'?

POST 5Original post

i agree. sorry to those who were shafted at the USGP but michelin is head and shoulders above bridgestone.

POST 6Original post

Looks like they were fired... http://www.fia.com/mediacentre/Press...141205-01.html Ouch!
