Does anyone have a Techart exhaust on their non-turbo 996? How does the sound compare to Fabspeed & GHL? What about price & value?

I havent heard one but they sell for around $2400 and a GHL is $700.

I'm guessing you're considering the one listed in the rennlist clasiifeds? I was looking at it a few months ago but I couldn't find anyone on any board that had ever heard the sound of the exhaust in person. For the right price, I would have given it a shot...couldn't get to the right price. Cheers, Stan

Well I drove a 99 last weekend with tips on it which said �Techart� so I assume it was a Techart exhaust system. I was very impressed with the sound over the other stock system cars I have driven over the past few weeks. I was just curious because I only read about Fabspeed and GHL on this board. I was wondering which of the two is comparable to the Techart system.

Ive heard it on a 997 and a c4s. Its as loud as a fabspeed maybe even louder but not as throaty. Sounds good!

I can't imagine any exhaust is worth that kind of coin. Not saying it's not nice, just sounds way overpriced.

LOL, then you don't want to upgrade to a Turbo. The standard exhausts are $5k, the really good ones are $7-9k, and the Kreis-sieg Ti is $17k
