I love my 996! I absolutely love it! However, I was just reading a few threads on Porsche Pete's Boxster Board, and someone posted these photos. Curse you 993! Which one is Angelina Jolie? Which one is Jennifer Anniston?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What is the big deal??
That photo has some seriously odd aperture and shutter speed setting. It looks like a diecast model car placed in the dirt for photos.

I agree. And fwiw, I like the look of the 964 better.
Yeah, but the 993 makes a great "hot air popcorn machine." That should get the 993 crowd riled up!
thats an "C2S" its a wide body... whats not to like. Love the 993, performance is so so compared to 996 c4s check out this thread: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...icial%26sa%3DN

I agree.
This is Carlos' car -- last I spoke with him he was in the Vegas area. His images are outstanding, so is his car. Beauty!

That's better than dealing with PMS every month!
Not to common are 993 C2S widebody (turbo look) two coloured grills in rear wing , but doesn't have the same suspension and big red brakes as the 993 C4S version They are good pieces and 993 C2S have a high value. Talking about Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie..... I prefer Adriana Lima, Gisele Bundchen or perhaps Heidi Klum...
Someone say Angelina..?
I was on the "roadtrip from hell" over the last couple days, so I missed the postings to this thread. Great point about the car looking like a diecast model - it didn't look that way to me when I posted it, but I had a cold and felt like crap. I love the looks of a 993 - always have. But, since the performance of the one pictured is only "so so" compared to newer 911s, I'll say that the 993 is Jennifer. For me, Angelina is a 996 or a 997.
As said before thats Carlos 97 C4S and if Im not mistaken hes had Andial build the motor up to 3.8 RS specs. He also has a good looking Boxster, and has many great photos of both of them.
Both photos look like the real thing to me. Both were probably taken with moderately long lens (first picture possibly cropped) and large aperture, therby given a very narrow depth of field (focus).
Looks great, there are a couple '98 C2S cars online for sale, big bucks of course. There are a couple of Ruf 993s in the LA/SD area, cool and amazing. I've recently taken to describing the 996 as having the soft rounded lines of the classic 356, that throws 'em for a loop.
This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
