I was at a dealer in Jersey this weekend when visiting my sister...they had an '04 C4S Cab, Basalt Black, Nat. Brown leather, and a few options. Sticker was 99,400. Without any negotiating, they offered it at 95k right off the bat just moments after going through their schpeal (sp?) about how it won't be there for long. I was surprised to see a discount on that car, and especially so without negotiation. At this time, is it standard for C4S cabs to be discounted? If so, is $4400 discount a little, a lot, or right on?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I shopped for my C4S Cab and was able to find some dealers in Pennsylvania and Southwestern NJ taking $5000 off list for cars in stock. The best I could do for a car of my choice (traded dealer-to-dealer) was $3000 off. The closer you get to NYC, the smaller the discount.
I read that Porsche is offering 4.5% discount on all 04s and some 03s.
Does that also apply to GT3's?
Read where? As a Cash back incentive to the dealers? T
It does not mention GT3 specifically, the info I have is this 911 03-04 4.25% Boxter 03-04 4.25% Carreta GT 04 only 4.25% Cayenne 03-04 4.25%
Wow, I didn't know the Carrera GT was getting 4.25% discount... man I'm going to order one first thing tomorrow.
I'm curious to know which dealer you were at this weekend...
I have spoken to a couple of dealers on C4S cabs and each has offered discounts in the neighborhood of $7000 on 98K cars.
these days with the imminent/published 997 information, you can work from invoice up on all non turbo p-cars, CGT excluded of course.
