Hi there, my 40th anniversary had some mods done by the 1st owner it and I would like some help to identify the brakes. My front brakes are the Brembo GT kit, massive 8 piston monobloc calipers with 2 pieces rotors (380mm). The rear brakes are the 330mm upgrade (stock was 298mm in the back) Now here's the question, both the fron and rear upgrades are available only for C4S/GT3/Turbo cars as far as I have been able to research. How can I identify exactly what was done to my car? Maybe they took the spindles from the GT3? Note that I am the 3rd owner and the second owner had no idea. On the second picture you an see the adapter plate, but not sure if that goes from a C2 stock fitment to the brembo kit fitment or if it goes from a GT3 fitment to the brembo kit fitment. Reason I am asking is I would like to go back to a 350mm/6 piston kit for the front, too much front bias for my taste in the current setup

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I can't understand what you say compared to the pictures. What I see on those pictures are front gt3 calipers (6 pistons), mounted via an adapter plate and matching rotors. I do not see any 8 pistons brembo gt caliper anywhere can you please clarify ? BTW if you want to sell this setup in the picture, I am buyer
you need to look better ;-) look at the gt3 set up: http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...tbrakeupgrades see how the middle piston is exactly aligned with the screw retaining the pad? my setup has 2 pistons on each side of that center screw + 2 at the extremities (on each side) and definitely 380mm vs. the gt3 that is 350mm and yes, it's for sale
ohh I see it now I think I got distracted by the yellow paint LOL
