The connector is made by Amp/Tyco electronics and it does have a Mercedes logo on it. Other electrical connectors have BMW and VW and Audi logos. In 5 years of working on Boxsters and 996s I have never seen a Porsche logo on a connector. The air flow sensor is made by Bosch.

FYI, the A96/50 automatic gearbox for all TTs and Carreras from MY2002 onwards is a modified Mercedes-Benz unit as well. Cheers, Uwe
