Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Did the guys with the long term tester get the RMS leak at 15,000 miles. The artile said they smelt burning fluid and took it in for the 15k. The car was lifted and showed mositure around seal . . . Not sure if this was RMS. Article cague about issue. I think mine my be heading there . . . Smell of burning fluids and oil level dropped a bit after spirited driving. Look under it tomorrow.

POST 2Original post

Burning oil might be the positive crankase ventilation valve blowing off excess oil. I've had the same smell after hard driving, never any drips...so far

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looked today and cannot see any drips or evidence of oil leaks. Can't see anything though as everything is covered up.
