Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'll be looking at a 2002 C4 w/ 33k miles and a 2003 C2 w/ 23k miles on Friday. The asking price for both is 56,900. This seems high compared to other posts, NADA and Kelley Blue Book. Are there any problem areas on either of these that need extra inspection? Any comments are appreciated.

POST 2Original post

You'll get lots of opinions on prices, there's been quite a few posts floating around lately on that. Best advice - take some pics when you look at them on Friday, interior and exterior, then post them, then ask about price! Good luck!

POST 3Original post

I paid $45k for my 02 C4 with 18k miles on it back in November 06.

POST 4Original post

Hell, I'll sell you my '04 C2 with 34K miles on it for $57,500. Price for both of them is too high.

POST 5Original post

I am looking at two different '02 Cabs, loaded. Both 42k miles, $42k

POST 6Original post

Prices are too high. Do a search on RMS, but don't let it scare you off. That is a very common problem, but if the car has been fixed with the latest version of the seal, then it will likely not recur any time soon. So ask about that in the service history. Get a PPI. Doesn't cost much and while not perfect, it will catch some things and give peace of mind. Most importantly, have fun looking.

POST 7Original post

Price might be a bit high for having higher mileage. Also summer is just around the corner, so now prices start going up! Btw, i didn't mention mine was a cab as well.

Hi, I was going to PM you this information but apparently you have PMs turned off. I'm not sure where you're located but I'm in NJ and will be selling a seal grey on black 2002 C2 with 17K miles. Car is mint with the following: Options: Supple leather, power/heated seats, 3 spoke steering wheel, Porsche crests on seats, suede headliner, Bose premium sound, PSM, Xenon headlights, 6CD changer, seal grey console, 18in Carrera wheels. A few aftermarket pieces include Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, Fabspeed exhaust, B&M short-throw shifter, Rennline racing pedals, Orciari front lip spoiler, silver Porsche hood crest, GT3 side skirts, clear bumper corners, painted bumperettes, and 3M clear bra on the front/sides/rear and 50% tint. If interested, please let me know and I can send some pics. Best, Jack
