In my used car search I've come across a nice car that has no options sticker (suspicious, but OK) and I'd like to get the options codes on it. I've had numerous people tell me to phone my local Porsche dealer and ask for it. So I do. "We don't do that, sorry sir." Is this common? I've noticed my local Porsche dealer bristles and foams whenever I talk to them and mention that I may be buying a used Porsche or that heaven forbid I may bring one from the States. Apparently if they know you have an american car they will refuse to book you for anything in under 4 weeks, period. Is this typicaly or am I just unlucky?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Call PCNA not the dealer.
Just called Barrier in Seattle, they were fantastically helpful. I'll try PCNA next time, don't want to take up dealer's time. Thanks
