For anyone who's interested... I had a Gemballa exhaust put on last week (the stock tips fit fine) and I must say that I am extremely pleased with the results. I wanted a deep sound on acceleration but I was very concerned with resonance at speed. The Gemballa seems like just the right balance for me. If Fabspeeds are too loud for you this may be a good option. I had also picked up a set of aluminum gauge faces from Tweeks and my mechanic strongly reccomended against using them. The apply with an adhesive backing and he said he has past experiences with them "bubbling" up a bit and causing the gauges to stick.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've read similar problems about the guage faces that glue on. Carnewal has the Techart aluminum gauge faces that Porsche uses. Gert informed me that the guages for the 02 996's should be available soon with the correct redline (7200).
