Hi again, i week ago i did the 40.000 klms "big" service...i.e spark plugs , oil, 3 filters etc.... i realised though the the average consumption accordin to the on board comp has gone up from 14.9 l/100klms (consumption from 23.400 klms when i bought the car until the day of my service 43.200) and from 43.200 up to 44.800 klms is 17.2 l/100klms i can verify that as well from the frequensy of filling up my tank...i.e is not that the o.b.c is not working properly.... performance wise, car now is smoother than before, quiter, and definetelly thirstier..... any idea

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

i have only had my car for a short while but i am sitting @ 13.1l or so per 100km. that's a pretty short sample you are taking - 1,500 km could it just be the driving mix over that period, ie more stop and go than long run?
BTW - i consistently got 10.9l per 100km with my 2002 M3. So is the C4S worth 2.2l per 100km ---------- YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
If I am not in a hurry to get somewhere and I am cruising on the hwy at 120-130 km/h, I get about 10L/100km! But if I drive it to work (lots of stop and go traffic), I avg. about 12-13 L /100km for a week's of driving (about one tank). The CT I am driving now will avg. 20L/100km in stop n go traffic!!!!
