I have a friend with a 996TT that he tracks (DEs). He doesn't want to put in a bar / harness if possible, but wants to feel more planted in his seat (stock seats). There's no "plug in" harness like the Schroths I have for my M3, so I thought his options might include upgrading the driver's seat only to the sport seat, the GT3 seat, or possibly the Euro GT3 seat. Anyone have any thoughts on the subject? Thanks! Ron

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

GT3 seat, without hesitation. I have one in for the driver side only (have a pass one as well, for the future). I love the seat. I cannot imagine driving without it now. I loose the heat and some adjustability, but that's fine as the gt3 seat is supportive, comfortable and promotes a good driving position. While not necessarily positive, it definitely leads you to drive faster, especially around corners. This, as you are not tossed about if you take a corner fast or tight.
