Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Wow!.... no relation to the seller... Thought you might want to check this out. Sad that these dont get driven the way they should be... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-...QQcmdZViewItem

POST 3Original post

SUPER HOT!! Well at least it has SOME miles... I have seen older cars with stupid amounts like under 10k miles... I think I will go look at it again, man that is nice!

POST 5Original post

Good looking car - Why are they sooooo expensive? Rare indeed. Don't get me wrong - I am a pcar lover, but at that price...you can by a whole lotta horse power...

POST 6Original post

This car is authentic The value will be increasing with the years because It's an amazing real sport car. No comparison to modern GT3... It's a piece of history

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

the funny thing is... every RS that was produced after this 2.7 is far better (performance wise) than this model.... yet it commands premium price, because this was the first that blew the competitions away back then...

POST 8Original post

that car is still a monster today, believe it or not - especially seeing it's from 1973 seems a little spendy though for a touring model, a proper white/blue one just sold in SF for $199K (had 3200 miles on it) - great value on that one

The first who did that was the 911 R. Another monster: http://soloporsche.com/showthread.php?t=16572 I have to go to work, and have no time to translate I'll do later

POST 11Original post

Thank goodness I got to see one of these in real life in Tulsa at the weedly Porsche Club breakfast. At these prices owners are not likely to let them out of the garages for us mere mortals to look at...or drool on. Something about them just looks "right" but it's hard to put a finger on it.

POST 13Original post

Thanks for the post - probably my favorite P-car ever.

POST 14Original post

Gorgeous car in fantastic condition. Great color - I liked the RS in green, too!

POST 16Original post

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...spagenameZWDVW times are tough for the rich people, they are parting with their toys

POST 17Original post

there's a dealer about 30 minutes from me with a 1973 rsr. right hand drive, was a show car in germany and france, then raced by porsche. no asking price, i could only imagine.
