Ok, so I just bought this nice set of 19" Champion wheels from a guy in another state. I finally gotten a chance to put them on this weekend. Well the front wheels are rubbing against the suspension. I just emailed the guy to find out of which Porsche he had it on. Are the offsets differ between 996 C2 or C4 and Porsche Boxster? Thats what I get for ASSumings.. Will new coilover help with the rubbings? I know in another vehicle I had, the stock struts are much wider than the aftermarket coilovers. So buy going with a narrower coilovers, it will not rub against the innner portion of the wheels and tires. I really dont' want to get spacers unless I have to.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I f the fronts are rubbing on the suspension and not the fenders try some spacers, that will fix the problem.
As Dharn55 said, wheel spacers are your only recourse if you want to keep these wheels. What is the wheel width and the the offset on the front wheels?
