Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I see painted air intakes on the 2004 option list for the C4S. New option? Anyone have a photo? Thanks! Larry

POST 2Original post

Yes, I have painted air intakes on front bumper of my 04 C4S. Front left, center, and right. Polar silver to match my polar silver car. I'll try and post some pics.

POST 3Original post

I can take some other pics if you like, bu here's one already taken from this past weekend's socal run, which happens to show a decent shot of my front bumper. I have the matching interior painted too - rear center console to match exerior paint, dash strip, and door trim http://www.speakeasy.org/~jacozilla/...Socal_march04/ *take a look at picture #40 (e.g. DSCN0040); #41 is the rear shot

POST 4Original post

The 40th Anniversary Edition has the left and right intakes painted while the center is black. On the C4S you have to get all three painted. Alan

POST 5Original post

I'd be afraid to see how many rock chips those painted grills would pick up here in the Northeast. That looks great on the silver though.

POST 6Original post

You don't have to get all three (left, center, and right) painted. If you so choose, you can get just the left/right painted even for a C4S. (although I don't think they give you a price break - it's the same cost)

Great pics, Mozhacker! Thanks!

POST 8Original post

Order guide shows $525 option CAV (painted air intakes L/R) requires $140 CAW (painted middle air intake) but I didn't discuss it with my dealer since I decided not to order them. Alan

POST 9Original post

Not that dealers know what the heck they are talking about most times, or even just say whatever they think you want to hear, but when I was ordering my car and my dealer was helping me put together my options, I was told they could order with either all vents painted or just L/R.

POST 10Original post

Is this what you are talking about?....I posted this 2-3 yrs ago.

POST 11Original post

There was a company that was offering a "stick-on" for the front fins on TT, C4S and Cayennes. I tought I saw it and lost the page, it is a silver slide on to make the fins stand out, anyone know the url?
