Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have not lived in LA for a few years, but my favorite was always Mulholland near the Rock Store. http://www.ridesaroundla.com/Rides/RockStore.html
Angeles Crest Highway is easily the most satisfying A run out to Malibu on the PCH then up through one of the bigger canyon roads is also a lot of fun and very pretty Mulholland is great except for the driveways!
Let me know if you're interested in some fun at Palomar (1/2 way between LA and SD). You want to learn about fun roads, follow me next weekend. I'm going to go with a bunch of Lotus boys.

wow this is a good site you linked to! they also have a writeup on angeles crest http://www.ridesaroundla.com/Rides/AngelesCrest.html and I must second , from painful personal experience, SUMMER ONLY
John, A loop I like to do when time permits is to head north of Ojai on 33Hwy... fun! Here's a link to a loop I do sometimes PCH-OJAI-33FWY . You can shorten this loop by making a U-turn on the 33 at the Lockwood Valley Rd intersection. And if you're close to the San Diego area you must try Engineers Rd (around Julian) http://www.sundaymorningrides.com/road/8535368/ And browse through the sundaymorningrides.com website - there's great info and suggestions there for other States along your travels.
Santa Barbara is nice, quite a few cool roads around there..... Plus you can drive your P-car out on the wooden pier and park for nice glam shots.
If you want a really bunch of great roads travel North on 101 to Ventura, turn inland to Ljai, taking Rt 33 and then head toward Cuyama. Follow it like you're going to Santa Maria. But then take some back canyon roads which can take you to Foxen Canyon Road and Los Olivos. Then return via Rt 154 (San Marcos Pass) and on to Santa Barbara, returning on Rt 101 S. If you want the specifics, send me a note for the directions.
