Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not sure what this does. It had a small diameter plastic do dah on it that was mostly off. The inside looks clean so I thought maybe the plastic cover just recently came off. So what is this hole for? Should I cover it up with a plug?

POST 3Original post

Mine came off to and think it is a vent maybe coming from inside cabin I just left it alone or off since it was not holding my tire on.

POST 4Original post

Looks like a standard plastic fastener hole - the same as the other ones holding in the wheel well liner - they're dirt cheap and can pick them up from your dealer.
