Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I seldom post, but always enjoy reading this forum. Last night coming home from the Jersey shore, I noticed a slate grey 997 come up on the back of my 996 Targa. I was cruising around 70 mph. A second later a black turbo passes me on my left. The next thing I know the three of us are moving down the hiway headed towards the Ben Franklin bridge. The ride was incredible. There was alittle bit of weaving in and out and ocassional bursts of speed ( all done in a careful law abiding fashion). There were also a few position changes, but there was no catching the turbo. As it turned out I was the under powered car as the 997 was a S. An exciting ride on beautiful but hot weekend here in the East

Reminds me of my drive home south from Laguna Seca, was driving along with a silver 997 TT and he kept going deep into triple digits. All wide open highway.... He had TX plates, not sure if anyone knows who it might have been....
