I found the TSB in the boxster forum but I remember someone in the 996 forum had pointed me to a post that had pictures and diagrams of the DIY fix. I have searched the forums but can't find it anymore. I had one 996 fixed at the dealer (both buckles) and now I want to try it myself (crazy?) Can anyone help with this one? Thanks in advance. Car is a 1999.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
