Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A group of Cary/Apex/Pittsboro Porsche owners are driving up to VIR on Saturday to see the practice runs for the Rolex races a day before the actual race. We'll be heading out from the Lowes Home Improvement (Hwy 64 and 15-501 in Pittsboro) around 8 am. Tickets at VIR will be $30 and I've been told (since I'm a first timer) that they give you great views of the track and also the pits. The trip from Pittsboro to VIR is a little over an hour of country roads - I can't wait to get in a group of Porsches on some country roads. Weather's supposed to be good too! Anyone who is interested in meeting us at the Lowes on Saturday morning is welcome to join. But, we are going to leave at 8 am, so PM me if you'd like to convoy with us - the more the merrier. I'll post a confirmed list of participants on Friday night, if the list includes more than our usual group of Bean & Bagel guys. Bob

One day I'll meet up with you guys, it WILL happen! We're looking at going Sunday... Will be in touch if we end up going Saturday. Ahmet

POST 6Original post

Crap..I wouldn't mind a VIR trip tomorrow, but my car is up on jackstands getting all 4 wheels R&R with powder coating. Nothing until Tuesday.

POST 7Original post

You all have fun. I lived in Chapel Hill and then Carrboro for years before I found myself here in Germany. Know 55, 54 and 64 and all the back roads around Jordan Lake like the back of my hand from tearing down them on a 750 Honda. Wish I was there.

POST 8Original post

I'll be there Sunday for the race. I'll be driving my Crown Victoria though! (more room for my two teenage sons, cooler, chairs, etc.)

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have fun on Sunday, everyone. I'll post pictures after the event. Bob
