This just appeared on YouTube .... 996, M3, RS4 comparo It's in German (circa 1999-2000), but worth watching. The 996 comes in second after the M3 because of practicality and price issues, but there's some good driving footage of the base 996 Carrera. The way the annoucer pronounces "Porsche" is soooo German.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Uh...That's how you pronounce it. "Por-shuh". It's a two syllable word, not the uneducated, 'Merican' version "Porsh" C.

Yes, I know it's two syllables... I had 6 years of German. But he also pronounces the "o" as a long "o" -- as in Oprah. So it's "Pohr-sha."
