Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, I have been waiting to post pictures of my new 996 until the body pieces were installed. Just got it back from the body shop Friday and after a weekend of cleaning and waxing here it is. Still needs to be lowered and spacers put on the wheels so it remains a work in progress.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys I went with the Carrera wing instead of the GT3 wing. Just could not get comfortable with the flying buttress look on a standard 996. The great part is that all but the side skirts came from individuals, new in the box at 1/2 the cost of the best price new. The internet is a great thing!

POST 7Original post

Nice! The carrera wing is subtle. I fully support the lowering and wheel spacer mods. Here are before and after photos:

POST 10Original post

Steve, great looking car. Now you need a nice picture of the 02 and the 90 side-by-side.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, a picture of the two is on my list for next weekend. I wished I lived in a more picture friendly place than Dallas though. Without driving quite a ways it is hard to find a good spot. I am jealous of the California guys
