Or do I have to buy the socket? I know the socket is a better choice but I'm wondering if the crescent wrench will work. My upper idle roller broke and it snapped the belt. Thanks, Mike

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Yes, but it is tricky not to angle to wrench so it does not slip off. Socket is much easier.
My Alldata DIY site has reference to a 27mm and a 24mm which one is it?
http://www.renntech.org/forums/index...ic=964&hl=27mm It is 24mm.
It should be 24 mm. A 15/16 inch socket will work (much better than a crescent wrench).
