Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

Well, that is correct ... but in the grand scheme of things.. who cares And actually 993 Turbo's are regularly referred to as 993TT's

POST 3Original post

Some Audi nut job got their knickers in a twist over this? I don't think anyone would confuse an Audi sporty (sort of) econo box with a twin turbo warp drive Porsche, but you never know I guess... Must have had a bug crawl up their butt to get them posting a silly 'notice' educating us about it. Here is the perfect sign for Total 911 magazine.

POST 4Original post

those guys must hate searching classifieds and coming up with a bunch of cars they "wish they had bought" instead of the POS in the driveways

POST 6Original post

It's not a bad as calling a Jaguar E-Type an XKE, now that is blasphemy!

POST 7Original post

If you're going to be technical, isn't it even wrong to call it a 996 or 997? Those are internal designations for two different generations of the Carrera model.

POST 9Original post

If you really want to be technical it's a 911 Turbo not a 996 Turbo. 996TT, 993TT, is the nickname given the car by the enthusiast community. I mean it is a "twin" turbo after all.
