Had the winter rims and tyres taken off and swapped out with the summer set this morning... I don't wanna hear any jokes about winter tyres, 'cause I hate 'em. So I hung at the Porsche Zenrtum Frankfurt for the better part of 2 hours (I had made an appointment in February) and then they returned the auto sans hard top! "Where's the top?" sez I. "We thought you wanted it stored." sez they. "No, I bought the wall-mount hard-top holder from you when we bought the car." sez I. This adds another 30 minutes... To dispell the boredom I wandered the lot and looked at all the banged up cars from March 1st snow storm. (First ice, freezing rain, and then 10 inches of snow). Then I sat in various Caymen S cars (nice, very nice), then I had a good look at the interior af a Cayenne. Not for me, no place to put the large parrot cage... Finally the car was ready...

I also removed my Winters, Which looks good with the correct rims. Anyway, the summers are on and daddy is happy.
I put my summer on last weekend. There is such a huge difference in ride of 17" with Blizzak LM-25's and the 18" with summer tires. I forgot how much more stiff the car was with 18"
