Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have been looking for a 996 for some time now and came accross a 2001 coupe that is in nice shape. It is a six speed, and when I drove it, the clutch felt funny. It did not slip, but grabbed very well, but it was like it was either On or OFF with little in between. The seller told me he just had a Sachs Sport clutch kit put in and that the stronger pressure plate has a much different feel to it than the stock one. Has anyone driven a 996 with the Sachs Sport Clutch? I know the stock clutch in the 996 has a more gradual connection whereas this one seems to have a lot less. Thanks for your help.
