Hi All, I just wanted to drop a line and say thanks for all of the great info on these forums. I lurked for a few months until I gathered enough info and enough nerve to finally bring home my '02 996 TT. It's silver/black with tons of options and 47K on the odometer. Passed the PPI in CA with flying colors, but I'm still in the phase where I'm listening for any little sign of something needing to be fixed. Already have done my version of the garage door opener mod (targa shade switch plus Homelink to open two doors). Still pinching myself!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
